Beat License Agreement

Official terms governing the use of instrumental beats (the "Beat") provided by Isaac (the "Producer").

Section 1 — Usage

This agreement grants the Licensee a non-exclusive license to use the Beat for one (1) commercial musical composition (the "Song"). The Beat may not be used for more than one Song without a separate license. Use is limited to the type and scope specified in the purchased tier (Basic Lease, Premium Lease, or Unlimited/Exclusive).

Section 2 — Streaming Limits

The Song may be distributed to streaming and download platforms subject to the following stream limits for the life of the release:

  • Basic Lease: 10,000 (ten thousand) streams across all platforms combined.
  • Premium Lease: 500,000 (five hundred thousand) streams across all platforms combined.
  • Unlimited / Exclusive: Unlimited streams.

If the stream limit for the licensed tier is exceeded, the Licensee must upgrade the license or cease distribution until an upgrade is obtained.

Section 3 — Ownership

Isaac (the Producer) remains the owner of the underlying Beat and all rights not expressly granted herein. The Licensee owns only the Master of their version of the Song—i.e., the specific recording that includes the Licensee's vocals or other contributions over the Beat. For Unlimited/Exclusive licenses, Master ownership of the Beat itself transfers to the Licensee as specified in the purchase; the Producer retains ownership of the composition (see Section 4).

Section 4 — Royalties

Publishing (Writer's share): A 50/50 split applies between the Producer and the Licensee (Artist). The Producer is entitled to 50% of the publishing/writer's share of the composition, and the Licensee is entitled to 50%.

Mechanicals: The Producer is entitled to 50% of mechanical royalties generated by the Song (e.g., from streaming, downloads, and physical sales). The Licensee is responsible for accounting and paying the Producer's share or ensuring that distribution and collection systems (e.g., label or distributor) account for the Producer's 50% mechanical share.

Section 5 — Credit

The Licensee must credit the Producer in all uses of the Song, including but not limited to: streaming metadata (e.g., Spotify, Apple Music), liner notes, video descriptions, and social media. Credit must appear in the form: Prod. by Isaac (or as otherwise agreed in writing). Failure to provide proper credit may result in breach of this agreement.

By purchasing a license, the Licensee agrees to these terms. For questions or custom agreements, contact the Producer directly.
